1 . All non - pre - employment testing , including but not limited to reasonable cause , workers ’ compensation , diluted specimens , medication count errors , and any other applicable testing as required shall be collected by a trained designated CHDC staff member . 2 . The contractor shall conduct pre - employment drug screen collection off - site at a contractor designated facility . Pre - employment samples should be collected by trained personnel at the contractor ' s designated location . For collections other than pre - employment , contractor will train CHDC staff on procedures for proper collection , testing , reporting , and steps for facilitating confirmatory testing ( when needed ). The contractor shall be solely responsible for specimen collection , chain of custody procedures , laboratory analysis / confirmation , and all drug / alcohol testing services , including alternative testing methods ( e . g ., hair or blood ) when requested .
