ITEM 1 – DUMP BED REPLACEMENT Minimum technical specifications to procure and install specified dump bed replacements and additional equipment called out in the specifications for two ( 2 ) Turnkey City of Asheville Freightliner M2 Dump Trucks . Tebco ( TCM Series ) Dump beds shall be new , unused and the manufacturer ' s latest production model . All Federal , State and OSHA requirements and standards shall be met . Review of bid specification sheets will focus on the compliance column with deviations noting where specifications exceed minimum requirements ONLY . Compliance deviations that do not meet or exceed the minimum requests will not be accepted . NOTE : All bidders shall respond to each category below . Any ' no ' responses or deviations shall be explained in the space provided . Specifications Description Complies : Mark with ✔ If No : Deviates As Noted Removal and Preparation A . Removal : Remove the existing dump bed from the chassis B . Frame Prep : Sandblast and repaint the frame , suspension , and axles from the back of the cab to the rear of the frame Hydraulic System Installation A . Components : Replace the PTO , hydraulic controls , hydraulic cylinder , and hydraulic lines B . Transmission : Install Hotshift PTO ( for Allison Automatic ) C . Hoist : Install HYVA A73 - 137 Hoist Kit and an upright oil tank D . Controls : Install a valve body to operate central hydraulics with specific sections : E . Body : Power Up / Gravity Down F . Plow : Power Up / Gravity Down , Power Angling G . Spreader : Power Beyond H . Snow Equipment : Install Force America 5100EX and 5150EX Remote I .
