1 . The contractor shall apply and pay for all necessary permits 2 . Remove and dispose of asphalt shingles and underlayment at a permitted landfill . 3 . After shingle and underlayment removal , the contractor shall inspect plywood sheeting and replace as necessary . Contractor shall review proposed plywood sheeting replacement with the facility ’ s supervisor prior to performing the work . This work will be at the unit bid cost per sheet of 4X8 plywood . 4 . Remove and replace all drip edge flashing at the concrete wall transition . 5 . Remove and replace all flashing at valleys , transitions , etc . 6 . Remove and replace all existing exhaust vents . 7 . Install 15 # roof underlayment . 8 . Install 30 - year asphalt shingles . 9 . Salt to be left in place . If salt needs to be removed it must be noted on the bid form . 10 . Time of completion is 90 days from notice to proceed . 11 . There is an estimated 8 , 000 SF of shingled roof . It is the contractor ’ s responsibility to field verify all quantities prior to bidding . Bid items are lump sum . There will be no change orders for deviation in quantities .
