Description
Description | Annual inspection and repair of the emergency generators located at the Chinden Campus . These inspections and repairs are to ensure they work when needed , preventing failure during actual power outages , which protects lives , ensures business continuity , and avoids costly damage , all while meeting strict safety codes like NFPA 110 . This service has never had a contractor under contract . This testing is required annually and there is not enough time to get a new solicitation out for bid and get the inspections and repairs completed . The Department of Purchasing is currently working on a new ITB solicitation and will have it completed before the end of the physical year . |
