40 In general , the work consists of : The project will consist of testing , maintenance , exercising , and cleaning the six 41 4160 / 480 - volt unit substations in the Capitol Building . Each unit substation consists of a 5kV fused switch , ambient 42 air / forced air dry type transformer , and 480 / 277V Square D switchboard . There is one unit substation in each of the 43 four wings of the Capitol . One wing also houses the Emergency and Mechanical unit substations . Each wing will 44 require a complete electrical outage before the work can start . Each electrical outage will involve two unitsubstations 45 due to the 5kV feeder configuration , multiple crews will be required to work on both unit substations at the same time . 46 47 The work for this project shall be concurrent with and occur during the same outages as Project 23J7E – Capitol 48 Main Circuit Breaker Replacement . Electrical outages shall be a 12 - hour window scheduled from Saturday 49 afternoon when the Capitol closes to Sunday morning when the Capitol opens . These outages will not occur during 50 peak heating and cooling season or during downtown scheduled events .
