Purpose and Description of Services a . Contractor agrees to provide to CMD Elevator Maintenance and Repair services , as described herein : Contractor shall provide all materials , labor , bonds , licenses , insurance , equipment , tools , permits , taxes , transportation , and fees to to provide a full equipment assessment for one elevator , and the maintenance and repairs for two elevators SCOPE 2 . The Contractor must possess a valid C - 11 license and demonstrate full competence in all aspects of elevator maintenance and repair services . All work shall adhere to all applicable local , state , and federal regulations , including , but not limited to , the California Code of Regulations ( CCR ), CA Department of Industrial Relations ( DIR ), Cal / OSHA , ANSI , CMAA , NEC , NEMA , and the Department of Public Health . 2 . 1 . All maintenance and repairs shall comply with the latest California Code of Regulations , Title 8 , Elevator Safety Orders . 2 . 2 . Statement of Work ( SOW ) Review : The contractor is solely responsible for reviewing the entirety of this SOW , including Attachments A - 1 through A - 13 . 2 . 3 . Site Visit and Measurement Responsibility : These specifications do not absolve the contractor of the responsibility to visit the site , accurately measure the work , or otherwise ensure that the quantities used in bid preparation represent the actual scope of work to be accomplished under the service agreement . 2 . 4 . Bid Confirmation of Site Visit : By submitting a bid , the contractor confirms that they have visited the sites and verified that the quantities used in their bid preparation represent the actual scope of work to be accomplished . 2 . 5 . Cost Proposal Inclusions : The contractor ’ s bid / cost proposal must be comprehensive , covering all associated costs , including wages , payroll taxes , fringe benefits , insurance , transportation , equipment , materials , supplies , indirect costs , overhead , and profit . 2 . 6 . Scope of Work and Location : The contractor shall perform and document all required maintenance , repairs , inspections , assessments , testing , and certifications for two elevators located in Buildings 1000 , and 1001 ; and the assessment of elevator and components located in Building 21 , at Joint Forces Training Base ( JFTB ), Los Alamitos . 2 . 7 . Emergency Services : The contractor shall provide emergency on - call services to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of two elevators in Buildings 1000 and 1001 . 2 . 8 . Full Service Responsibility : The contractor is expected to assume full responsibility for all services , maintenance , repairs , inspections , training , and costs necessary to keep the elevator equipment identified in Section 2 . 8 . 1 ( Elevator Schedule ) operating safely and efficiently . 2 . 8 . 1 .
