Description
Description | Vendor shall provide maintenance and repairs for ALL campus elevators . All elevators will be inspected and maintained on a monthly basis . All elevators must have their annual Category 1 tests completed by their due date . Inspection and maintenance logs will be maintained in each elevator room and electronically in accordance with state law and regulations . Contractor needs to be licensed to service elevators in Minnesota . Monthly and annual checklists are used per the Department of Labor and Industry Standards . For entrapments , all elevators are equipped with Kings III communications , and they will make contact with Campus Public Safety , then Public Safety will call the Fire Department . Contractor will be responsible for making repairs after the event within 24 hours of entrapment . For non - entrapment repairs , the Contractor needs to respond and repair the elevator within 24 hours of regular business hours or present the timeline of the repair to Facilities Management . |
