Description | • Emergency Definition : Immediate , 24 / 7 response for downed or hazardous trees blocking traffic , damaged power lines , or threatening public safety . • Response Time : Must be within two ( 2 ) hours of initial contact . • Safety & Standards : All work must comply with ANSI Z133 safety standards and ANSI A300 pruning standards . • Crew / Equipment : Mandatory 5 - person crew with aerial truck ( 60 ft +), chipper , and heavy - duty saws . • Licensing : Must possess a valid Michigan forestry contractor ' s license Operational Expectations • Site Cleanup : Complete removal of debris and stumps ( if specified ) within 24 hours of cutting . • Documentation : Daily work logs , including address and photos of work completed , must be submitted . • Damage Prevention : Extreme care to avoid damage to roads , homes , and private property . • Right - of - Way Focus : Services are primarily for trees located in the road right - of - way . |
