Energy Conservation Performance Contract

Provide a comprehensive program for the District that may include installation of energy conservation capital improvement projects . The specific nature of the capital improvement projects is left to the Contractor ’ s judgment but must be clearly identified in the proposal . Notwithstanding the foregoing , Contractor ’ s should submit pricing and related guarantees for the general scope of work identified in this RFP . Contractors may also submit voluntary alternates for additional or different scopes of work and guarantees , which the District may consider in its sole discretion . Provide a more comfortable environment for building occupants . This may include installation , repair , renovation , or replacement of heating , ventilation , air conditioning , energy management , lighting systems , etc . The specific nature of improvements is left to the Bidder ’ s judgment but must be clearly identified in the Bidder ’ s Proposal . See , Section 1 . 1 , above . Provide a minimum one - year warranty on all equipment , materials , design , and workmanship from the date of final acceptance by the Owner . A longer warranty is advantageous to the District on individual pieces of equipment and / or the overall project .
