Description | This procurement will be a 3-year IDIQ type contract restricted to the part number indicated below. ITEM: Engine, Diesel NSN: 2815-01-668-4779 MILITARY (CAGE: 19207) PART NO: 12505857-003 INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: Origin / Origin FOB: Origin PACKAGING: Military / A with Special Packaging Instructions MINIMUM / MAXIMUM QUANTITY: 33 Each / 500 Each KIND OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price Offers are due on/about 3 September 2026 (see solicitation for actual due date). Offerors are encouraged to check the sam.gov website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation. The solicitation contains a provision entitled 'Reverse Auction,' which allows for the use of reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com. Any questions related to the reverse auction system or process can be directed to the contract specialist. |
