Description | The selected firm will help with the design and implementation of a play area in Thurow Park on the east side of Dodge City .. Thurow Park currently has a small playset , walking trail , old unused tennis courts and a large unused green space area that serves this section of the community . The goal would be to install a new parking lot , a new play area that includes a splashpad , playset , stream water feature , public restroom , and sidewalks to connect all the amenities together . The City plans to apply for a Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG ) to help pay for the development of this area . One of the requirements is to solicit a firm to do design for the project and have them readily available to assist . |
