Description | The City of Albany ( hereinafter referred to as the “ CITY ”) hereby requests proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services related to the installation of improved tree wells throughout the City of Albany . Funding for this project is though a USDA Forest Service Inflation Reduction Act ( IRA ) pass through grant from the NYSDEC ’ s Urban and Community Forestry Program . Minority Business Enterprises and Women ' s Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals . The project includes installing approximately one hundred ( 100 ) improved tree wells at the following locations : Lark Street – Clinton Ave to Washington AveCentral Avenue – Lark St to Henry Johnson BlvdQuail street – Central Ave to Clinton AveSherman Street – Quail St to Ontario StThe total project budget is approximately $ 875 , 000 . 00 including all construction , engineering , administration , and a 10 % construction contingency .
