Im Projekt ENGEL ist vorgesehen, den bestehenden Gondelprüfstand zu erweitern, um künftig Offshore-Windenergieanlagen (WEA) mit einer Leistung von bis zu 30 MW testen zu können. Dazu ist insbesondere die Erweiterung des Kabelsystems notwendig.
