The scope of work shall include : a . Chargers ( 2 ) 40kW DC Fast Dual Output CCS1 + CCS1 connectors for simultaneous charging . b . Software - Charger and Subscription to a Charging Management Software with cell phone service . c . Installation of a new medium voltage switch that will feed the existing service to the Middle School Transformer ( 120 / 208V 3 - phase to remain ) and new 750kVA primary transformer and 480v , 800 - amp service dedicated to the EV bus chargers ( KW charger load between 80kW and 160 kW ). The installation requires a threephase main voltage switch rated for a minimum of 800 amps at the incoming service voltage and adherence to all National Electrical Code ( NEC ) standards , including dedicated circuits and overcurrent protection . The single switch will feed two separate systems : the existing 120 / 208V transformer and the new 480V transformer for the EV chargers . Ensure proper balancing of loads across all three phases . d . Installation of all conduit and new medium voltage underground cabling wire to feed the new electrical service at the bus lot ( 130 - 150 ' allowance ). e . Installation of an outdoor pad mount transformer primary to 480 - Volt / 750 KVA at or within the bus lot .
