1 . Complete removal of existing fencing , gates , foundations , and accessories to be replaced with new black PVC fence , gates , foundations and components in similar location . 2 . Removal and replacement of approximately 700 ’ of 6 ’- 0 " high perimeter chain link fence . 3 . Fencing and gate replacement shall be completed in manageable sections , with removal and replacement completed in sections while maintaining site boundaries and access . 4 . Contractor shall complete all excavation work . 5 . Contractor shall call Miss Dig prior to starting work to identify underground utilities . 6 . Contractor shall coordinate with the owner prior to starting work to identify underground utilities 7 . Manufacture design shall meet or exceed local and State of Michigan Building Codes . It is the contractor and manufacturer ’ s responsibility to ensure all building code requirements . 8 . Manufacturer shall design foundations based upon geological soil conditions . There will be no additional monies or change orders for poor soil conditions . 9 . Contractor shall restore site back to original condition upon completion with any required black dirt / seed or asphalt / concrete as required to match adjacent surfaces . This also includes damages to any surface during installation and shall be replaced at no additional cost to the owner . 10 . Posts poured in concrete shall be a minimum of 12 ” diameter and 50 " below grade with bell house opening at base of hole . Concrete shall be held 6 ” below surface level . 11 . Posts pushed into soils without concrete shall be a minimum of 60 " below grade . 12 . Driveway gates ( 2 ) shall be 40 ’ double drive slide gates with nylon rollers and minimum 4 ” SPS 40 posts . 13 . Fencing shall be 2 ” x 9ga knuckle - knuckle style with black coating . 14 . Top rail shall be 1 . 88 ” 40 weight . 15 . Terminal posts shall be 3 ” x SPS 40 , line posts shall be 2 . 5 ” x SPS 40 and not more then 10 ’ on center . 16 . All fittings shall be steel . 17 . Voluntary alternates / deducts may be considered
