Description | The Town of Erie is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a Development Impact Fee Study of current fees and provide recommendations for updated and potential new Impact fees . The development impact fee program must meet applicable state procedures and requirements of C . R . S . §§ 29 - 1 - 801 — 29 - 1 - 804 and 29 - 20 - 101 — 29 - 20 - 108 . Municipal code requires these fees be assessed every 5 years ( Municipal code 2 - 5 - 1 . F ) Current impact fees were last updated in 2021 by an Impact Fees study completed by TischlerBise . The goals of this project include : • Analyze and recommend methodologies to determine the assessment of impact fees , including current methodology and any recommended alternatives , • Analyze and recommend appropriate impact fees to fund the Town ' s Capital Improvement needs as it relates to growth and development • Analyze and recommend an annual escalator to apply to all fees between impact fee studies to offset the cost of constructing infrastructure assets • Provide impact fee rate comparisons with surrounding government entitiesSee more |
