Facepiece Fit Testing

The Wentzville Fire Protection District is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide annual quantitative fit testing services for Self - Contained Breathing Apparatus facepieces in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 . 134 . The intent of this Request for Proposals is to secure a qualified provider capable of delivering compliant , properly documented , and professionally administered quantitative fit testing services for district personnel . SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected vendor shall provide quantitative fit testing services for up to sixty members utilizing 3M Scott AV3000HT facepieces . All testing shall comply fully with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 . 134 and shall be conducted using quantitative instrumentation such as a Quantifit system or equivalent approved equipment . Services shall be performed on site at Wentzville Fire Protection District Headquarters . Testing shall be completed over three separate days to accommodate A , B , and C shifts , with one testing day dedicated to each shift . All services provided shall be performed during the month of July 2026 . The vendor shall provide retesting during the scheduled session for any member who does not pass the initial fit test . The vendor shall also provide all required adapters , probes , tubing , and any additional testing materials necessary to properly test Scott AV3000HT facepieces .
