Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.

The INSPIRE Geoportal (https://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu) is the central point of access to the whole set of resources shared by EU Member States under the scope of the INSPIRE Directive. The current version of the Geoportal is a highly customized component which requires significant effort for the maintenance of existing features and the addition of new ones. The foreseen services will contribute to the evolution of the backend of the INSPIRE Geoportal as foreseen by the JRC Technical Report on the 'Sustainability of the INSPIRE Core Infrastructure Components'. In particular, the Geoportal will be improved thanks to the integration of GeoNetwork, which is a mature open source software project.
