Description | The selected project involves a barreled roof ice arena . The arena is approximately 37 , 000 sq ./ ft . with the barrel roofing system to be replaced with either EPDM or PVC . Qualified contractors must have demonstrated past experience with similar structures and construction . Contractor must have available bond capacity of $ 1 , 000 , 000 dollars . It is currently the City ’ s intention to award a contract for the services requested , to approved and pre - qualified roofing contractors in February 2026 or earlier with construction starting on or about April 15 , 2026 . The Department of Public Works may extend the final executed roofing contract , based on unit prices or negotiated pricing , for a period of up to three years from contract signing , to the successful bidder or bidders at any City of Manchester owned facility . |
