Clam shell or Boxed hinged for 90 degree gates . 1 . 3 Installation 1 . Install framework , fabric and accessories in accordance with ASTM F567 and manufacturer ’ s instructions . 2 . Set terminal and posts plumb in concrete footings with top of footing 6 inches below finish grade . Embed posts a minimum 2 feet into concrete . 3 . Provide top rail through line posts and splice with 7 - inch - long rail sleeves . 4 . Stretch fabric between terminal posts or at all intervals of 100 ft . maximum , whichever is less . 5 . Position bottom of fabric one inch above finish grade . 6 . Fasten fabric to top rail , line posts , and braces and bottom tension wire on rail with wire ties maximum 15 inches on center . 7 . Attach fabric to end and corner post with tension bars and tension bar clips . 8 . Install bottom tension wire stretched taut between terminal posts . 9 . Brace each gate and corner post to adjacent line post with horizontal center brace rail and diagonal truss rods . Install brace rail , one bay from end and post gates . 10 . Provide gate posts : 2 ” x 8 ’; 2 ½ x 8 ’; 3 ” x 8 ’; 4 ” x 10 ’ 6 ”; 6 5 / 8 ” x 10 ’ 6 ” 11 . Install gate fabric to match fence . Install three hangars , latch , catches , drop hold torsion spring retainer . 12 . Provide concrete center drop to footing depth and drop and retainers at center of double gate openings .
