Description | Need : The Sumner County Sheriff ’ s Office is seeking proposals from qualified fiber optic contractors (“ Vendors ”) to upgrade and expand the existing fiber optic infrastructure . Desired Outcome : The selected qualified fiber optic contractor (“ Vendor ”) will install new multimode OM3 , 10 - gigabit - capable fiber optic cabling from each identified Intermediate Distribution Frame ( IDF ) to the Main Distribution Frame ( MDF ) located in the Sumner County Sheriff ’ s Office Server Room . The installation must provide a minimum of six ( 6 ) fiber pairs per IDF , each capable of supporting 10 - Gigabit Ethernet connectivity . This upgrade is intended to expand capacity and ensure reliable , scalable network connectivity to support current operations and future growth of the Sumner County Jail and Sheriff ’ s Office . |
