Description | A small hydroelectric project is proposed to be constructed on Fivemile Creek in Chitina , AK . The Alaska Energy Authority ( AEA ) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform vegetation clearing in support of this project . This statement of services entails clearing of vegetation along the access road , penstock route , powerhouse area , diversion and intake structure , as well as staging or spoils areas for the proposed project . Work must be completed outside of the migratory bird window ( May 1 through July 15 ). |
