THE WORK UNDER THE CONTRACT CONSISTS OF : 1 . The removal of an existing 5 , 000 - gallon underground gasoline storage tank ( UST ), a 10 , 000 - gallon diesel UST , and associated piping , all mechanical and electrical equipment , conduits , concrete , asphalt , trenching , hardware , electrical conduit , and all other existing obstructions , below ground and above ground . Work includes content removal , permitting , cleaning , inerting , transportation , offsite disposal , and proof of delivery to an approved scrap yard , if applicable . It also includes stockpiling of excavation materials in accordance with all applicable New Hampshire requirements , as well as onsite management and offsite disposal under the direction of the Owner ’ s Environmental Professional . It also includes protection / restoration of all utilities , structures , and operations , buried , at grade or overhead , impacted by the Contractor ’ s work . 2 . After removal of the USTs , backfill excavation with excavated soils , subject to the approval of the Engineer or Environmental Professional and new 95 % compacted and independently tested structural fill or gravel , re - grade area , restore with new asphalt / concrete in accordance with drawings and specifications . 3 . Furnish all permits , equipment , labor , and materials unless otherwise specified on the drawings or in these specifications . The Contractor will be ICC ( International Code Council ) certified in accordance with the work being performed . The Electrician will be licensed in the State of New Hampshire . 4 . The installation of a complete gasoline , diesel fuel , and Diesel Exhaust Fluid storage and refueling system , including inventory and high level controls , concrete foundations and supports , product and vapor piping , controls , equipment , electrical , mechanical , traffic barriers , fencing , startup , testing , training , warrantee work , painting , signage , labels , complete functioning , inspected , and tested system . 5 . Restore all asphalt paving effected by the work . 6 . All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically excluded from the Scope of Work . 7 . Provide and install all equipment and materials unless otherwise specifically excluded from the Scope of Work .
