The purpose of this Invitation to Quote ( ITQ ) is to obtain pricing for the purchase of parts , maintenance , and repair services for all County - owned Tiffin Motorhomes and Thor Motor Coach recreational vehicles . Parts may include Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ), Original Equipment ( OE ), or approved aftermarket components . Scope of Services and Additional Requirements A . Bidder must have been servicing recreational vehicles ( RVs ), specifically Tiffin Motorhomes and Thor Motor Coach units or comparable RV brands , for a minimum of three ( 3 ) years , with at least one ( 1 ) customer letter of reference confirming an ongoing business relationship for a minimum of three ( 3 ) years . B . Bidder ( s ) must have a secured facility that is properly sized , in the form of a fenced area , locked lot , or secure building , which will allow for the proper repair of recreational vehicles ( RVs ), as well as storage of units pending repair . This facility must be fully equipped and capable of performing all required repair and preventative maintenance services being requested for RV units . C . Bidder must be capable of picking up and delivering recreational vehicles ( RVs ) to and from County locations if repairs required to return the unit to service cannot be performed at a County facility . Work Order Estimates / Notice to Proceed The awarded bidder will be required to provide a detailed estimate of all labor and parts , etc . to be used on requested repairs and / or maintenance prior to repair . It is understood that the initial estimate may not be all inclusive due to possible hidden damages from parts that cannot be physically seen and inspected until the unit is fully torn down . A supplemental notice and report will be required to document hidden damages if present . Repairs and Preventative Maintenance ( PM ) to Tiffin and Thor Equipment The awarded bidder will be required to properly perform repairs to Tiffin and / or Thor Equipment per their latest maintenance and service manual version , no exceptions . Example of repairs include , but not limited to hydraulic , electrical , and other installed ancillary systems . Some of repairs , where mutually agreed , may be performed onsite at a designated County facility . Parts All parts to be used shall be designated Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ), Original Equipment ( OE ), or approved aftermarket parts for recreational vehicles ( RVs ), including those manufactured by Tiffin Motorhomes and Thor Motor Coach . Parts may also include components provided by the original manufacturer of any ancillary system , as requested and / or approved by the servicing facility for the repair service to be performed .
