Description | Phase I consists of the repair of the existing Arch Storm Drain Tunnel located at 45 feet under Foothill Boulevard and the existing 48 ” Corrugated Metal Pipe ( CMP ) storm drain located below the Lutheran Church in the Foothills ( LCIF ) parking lot . The general items of work include design and construction of a jacking pit in the LCIF parking lot ; jacking a 30 ” ID ( 32 ” OD ) High Density Polyethylene ( HDPE ) pipe northerly and southerly from the jacking pit to strengthen the existing Arch Storm Drain Tunnel and the 48 ” CMP ; construct a new concrete outlet structure at the end of the 48 ” CMP storm drain ; construct a new manhole stack in the shoring pit ; backfill the shoring pit ; remove the upper 2 feet of the shoring system ; and other related work . Clean up and leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the Plans and Specifications . |
