1 . This RFB includes the pizza components for a baked fresh individual size pizza that is K12 compliant . The pizza components must be packed individually and will be assembled fresh daily by school nutrition staff and cooked on a conveyer style oven . 2 . This program shall encompass two high schools , Rockmart High School and Cedartown High School . The district reserves the right to expand or reduce the size of this program based on the needs of the district . 3 . Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday between the time of 6 am EST and 1 : 30 pm EST . 3 . ( NEW ) Successful vendor must provide initial training , training must be provided at no cost to the district for each participating school site . The training must include holding , thawing , preparing , cooking , serving , and best practices . 4 . The successful vendor shall provide all promotional supplies and advertising for this program . The Successful Vendor is responsible for replacing any company owned graphics , signage , or promotional supplies that become damaged or worn at no cost to the district . 5 . Products must be supplied to all schools in the district that are participating in the program on a weekly schedule . Refrigerated trucks must be used for all food deliveries . Delivery is acceptable from 6 : 00 a . m . to 1 : 30 p . m ., Monday through Friday , except for school holidays . A school calendar will be provided in this solicitation . 6 . ( NEW ) Vendor submissions must provide a case of each product specified in bid to allow for sampling . These must be received by April 2 , 2026 , by 10 am EST to allow for testing . 7 . The entire pizza must be able to be fully baked on a conveyer oven supplied by contractor on a belt time of 3 minutes or less . 8 . Child Nutrition ( CN ) labels must be submitted with the food samples on April 2 , 2026 , by 10 am EST . for new food submissions . If not required to submit samples , current CN labels must be provided with the bid submissions by April 13 , 2026 , at 11 am EST . All submitted food products require CN labeling , this includes the dough , sauce , cheese , and toppings . 9 . Smart Mouth Pizza / Bull ’ s Eye Brands or Approved Equal ; 10 . Estimated usage : Cedartown High = Estimated 388 cases , Rockmart High = Estimated 176 cases ; Pizza Products Specifications : Required food / supply components include dough , sauce , cheese , toppings , and branded logo container according to these specifications : 1 . Pizza dough needs to be seven inches ( 7 ”) in diameter and 3 oz . made with whole wheat formula and credit as a 3 - grain component . The dough should be pre - pressed and docked . The dough should be proof ready ( raw ) and not parbaked . It should perform as a pan - style pizza and have the flexibility to make calzones and oven baked fold - over style sandwiches . 2 . The cheese must be frozen one hundred percent ( 100 %) low moisture , part skimmed Mozzarella Cheese , be IQF , and meet USDA specifications for lower sodium . 2 oz must be credited as 2 meat / meat alternative . 3 . The sauce shall be packed in approved containers and made from crushed tomatoes and not tomato paste . Low Sodium . 4 . The toppings shall be fillers and extenders FREE and must contain Italian sausage and pepperoni ( pork and beef blend ). 5 . The program must offer a pre - assembled clam - shell box with a branded logo and place for marking both times and flavors . It should be made of fluted cardboard or corrugated ( not chipboard ) as to maintain the holding temperature of the product and offer the ability to stack the boxes without crushing .
