Description | 2 . 1 The Department has a 2000 bulk fuel tank for gasoline and a 2000 bulk fuel tank for diesel which is used to refuel state owned vehicles as well as fuel jugs . 2 . 2 The current system is manual , and card reader is non - functional . 2 . 3 The department uses WEX fuel cards when vehicles are re - fueled in the community . 3 . GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 3 . 1 The system must include a card reader device located near the outdoor bulk fuel tanks that is used to turn fuel dispensers on and off , monitor the amount of fuel dispensed , recognize authorized WEX fuel cards , and interface with existing fuel tanks . The card reader device must interface with WEX fuel cards . 3 . 2 The system must be able to track the amount of fuel in the fuel tanks . 3 . 3 System software must allow for integration with the department ’ s active directory for single signon capabilities for staff . It must also allow the department to manage the user access levels and authority within the system . 3 . 4 System software must contain an audit log that tracks when information is updated . |
