The Taney County Purchasing Department will accept and review responses to this RFB in an effort to complete the purchase of : Fuel treatment through a qualified company able to provide an additive program for diesel fuel tanks within our Taney County Road & Bridge Department . There are five ( 5 ) bulk diesel fuel tanks , making our total annual volume being approximately 404 , 000 gallons . Standard Requirements for Diesel Fuel Quality Assurance Required Performance Additive Package • Detergents / Dispersants • Cetane Improver • Demulsifiers • Rust and Corrosion Inhibitors • Oxidation Inhibitors • Pour Point Depressants • Lubricity Improver • Metal Deactivator Must Contain the Following : Detergents / Dispersants Cetane Improver Demulsifiers Rust and Corrosion Inhibitors Oxidation Inhibitors Pour Point Depressants Lubricity Improver Metal Deactivators Performance Results • Peugeot XUD - 9 Indirect Injector Cleanliness Test : > 10 % and 40 % • Peugeot DW - 10 Direct Injector Cleanliness Test • ASTM D6890 Diesel Engine Test for Cetane : Number : 3 to 4 point increase • ASTM D 1401 Water Separation Test : Complete after 15 minutes • ASTM D 130 Copper Corrosion Test : 1A / 1B • ASTM D 665 Rust Test : Pass , B + • ASTM EN15751 0xidation Test at least 10 hours • ASTM D5949 Pour Point Testy at least 20 ° F ASTM D6079 Lubricity Test • At least 40 % of original flow at 0 . 1 mm pintel lift • Pass • 3 to 4 point increase • Complete after 15 minutes • 1A / 1B • Pass , B + or better • At least 10 hours • note decrease compared to untreated fuel • no more than 0 . 52 microns The Diesel Fuel Conditioner and Performance Improver must not contain ethanol or isopropyl alcohol Does not emulsify water in the fuel .
