Functional Family Therapy ( FFT ) Training and Implementation

This RFP provides background information and describes the services desired by STATE . It describes the requirements for this procurement and specifies the contractual conditions required by the STATE . Although this RFP establishes the basis for Responder Proposals , the detailed obligations and additional measures of performance will be defined in the final negotiated contract . STATE ’ s proposed FFT Provider Training Initiative is designed to increase Minnesota ’ s capacity to serve youth and families who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this RFP . The training program will equip providers to effectively deliver FFT to youth ages 10 – 18 ( up to 21 case - by - case ) who are referred through juvenile probation , child welfare , or the courts ; families at risk of out - of - home placement ; youth with open Children ’ s Mental Health ( CMH ) or Child Welfare Targeted Case Management ( CW TCM ) cases ; and families not currently accessing Multisytemic Therapy ( MST ). Because these populations experience significant disparities and often come from racially , culturally , and geographically diverse communities , our training model emphasizes cultural responsiveness , fidelity , and equitable access .
