Description | The Compass Technology Group (CTG) Handheld AMMP System (Model HH-SP218-14 V2) is the only instrument that meets Fort Valley State University¿s research needs in animal health and agriculture. The university¿s work focuses on non-invasive, field-based monitoring of livestock and biological materials, which requires accurate broadband (2¿18 GHz) measurements on curved and irregular surfaces. Unlike standard lab analyzers, the CTG Handheld AMMP combines the SP218 wideband probe and Copper Mountain VNA into one rugged handheld device connected only by USB. This cable-free design eliminates the main sources of signal loss and failure during field use. It also includes spacers for curved surfaces and a durable handle and tablet setup, making it ideal for real-world farm conditions. |
