Supplier shall provide comprehensive herbicide application and weed abatement services for property owned and operated by FMTC . Supplier will furnish all necessary equipment , materials , labor , herbicide , transportation , supervision , and incidentals necessary to chemically treat vegetation . Work will be scheduled and performed upon request by the owner and as further identified in this Scope of Work ( SOW ). The preferred herbicide application methods shall be either low - volume backpack foliar , or high - volume foliar applications that utilize a pick - up truck or an ATV type operation with a wand or boom sprayer , depending upon conditions . Low - volume backpack applications shall be the preferred method near buffer zones and sensitive areas when applicable . Specific : 1 ) Herbicide ( s ) will provide non - selective control of emerged and pre - emerged grasses and broadleaf weeds . 2 ) Only herbicides and methods approved by the Armed Forces Pest Management Board shall be used . Herbicide applications shall comply with industry standards for licensing , notification , and documentation . 3 ) All herbicides and mixture ingredients shall have EPA approval and have proper labeling . Changing methods of application and / or herbicide mix may be required to meet the variety of conditions encountered . No herbicide shall be used without discussion or the prior approval of the Owner ....
