The NFPA 1851 standard 2020 edition also calls for advanced inspections of all elements at least once a year or as needed based on findings found during routine inspections . 1 . 4 Scope Vendor to supply the following twice per year : 25 Helmets to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 40 Hoods to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 63 Coats to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 25 Pairs of Gloves to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 63 Pants to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 25 Pairs of Boots to receive advanced cleaning and inspection IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition 1 Misc . Repair for firefighter gear IAW NFPA 1851 ; 2020 edition |
