The University seeks to retain the services of a Supplier ( s ) to comply with all Higher Education , state , and federal requirements and support the University ’ s mission of supplying high quality education to its students and contributing to the advancement of the entire state of Oklahoma . Deliver fast effective service to University Departments . Contain the overall costs of a responsive Program . The proposed solution shall be : Flexible to accommodate changing requirements and conditions as needed during the life of the contract . Flexible to comply with , and advance , Higher Education , State and Federal policy changes . Expandable and reducible , as needed , to meet Contract goals and objectives . Collaborative with University staff and other University Suppliers to advance Contract goals and objectives . Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Supplier must possess the knowledge , capability , and resourcefulness to effectively provide general contractor or remodeling services in accordance with all federal , state , and any other applicable laws , regulations , policies , University Board of Regents requirements , etc . Minimum qualifications are as follows : Supplier has been providing general construction , contractor or remodeling services in area ( s ) of expertise for at least five years ; this may include self - performed activities . Supplier has experience working with clients in higher education and / or state government Key project staff must provide documentation of experience demonstrating their proficiency and expertise in the relevant area Be able to perform services in Tulsa but can also perform services in Norman and Oklahoma City or other designated University campus locations . Supplier shall : Coordinate with the University to identify improvements available within the market . Provide competent and qualified personnel to work on the scope of services under the Contract . Be responsible for ensuring the accuracy , timeliness , and completion of all tasks assigned under the resulting Contract . Collaborate with Tulsa or other facility resource ( s ) on Statement of Work , engagement scope and objectives , Tulsa and other facility resource ( s ) reserve the right of final approval . Hold pre - construction meeting with Tulsa or other facility resource ( s ) prior to the start of the project . Submit construction schedule with milestones to Tulsa or other facility resource ( s ). Work with Tulsa or other facility resource ( s ) on construction inspection process performed by the university ’ s department of campus safety . Provide Tulsa facility or other resource ( s ) weekly status updates on the project .
