Description | General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for Development Division. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requires the services of a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) to assist FDOT with a variety of engineering and technical tasks to support FDOT’s Five-Year Work Program. The GEC will provide support to the FDOT Transportation Development Department in areas including, but not limited to, planning, traffic data collection and modeling, environmental studies, design, construction plan and technical document preparation and review, environmental permitting, surveying, and project management. The GEC will use both employees working at the firm’s home office, as well as employees working full-time within the FDOT facilities. |
