Description | Essex County seeks sealed proposals from qualified respondents to provide general surveying and mapping services for multiple projects in Essex County , New York . Surveys may include but not be limited to : horizontal and vertical site control analysis , topographic surveys , cross - section and profile survey , record plat and easement plat preparation , digital terrain modeling , aerial mapping and , plan and profile surveys . Respondent shall provide legal boundary surveys , and legal descriptions of any right - of - way or easements . Each firm shall understand and be fully familiar with the New York State Dept . of Transportation Land Surveying Section Standards and Procedures Manual , specifically Chapters 9 Secondary Project Control , 11 Terrain Data ( Topographic ), 12 Right of Way ( ROW ), Mapping Surveys , 13 Bridge and Hydraulics Surveys , and 15 Construction Surveys . The firm shall also understand and be fully familiar with permitting requirements , federal , state , and local environmental requirements , and MBE / WBE requirements . |
