INTENT OF CONTRACT : Specifications for Glass Replacement for All JCHA Owned Sites for a Period of Two ( 2 ) Years With an Option for an Additional Two ( 2 ) Years The intent of this contract is the repair and replacement of double insulated glass units , single pane units , wire glass units , window replacements and related services " as needed ". The method of repairs and or replacements of these windows shall be completed in consultation with the site ' s Asset Manager and the contractor prior to actually performing this work . SCOPE OF WORK : The work required under this contract is for the repair and replacement of double insulated glass units ; single pane insulated glass units , screens , balances , wire glass units , windows , and related services at all designated developments . The nature of the repairs will be to respond , and repair broken or damaged glass . The vendor must have a sufficient amount of glass material inventory necessary to complete the work in a reasonable time . Reasonable time for the purpose of this contract is set at " same day as reported ." All labor , equipment , tools , and transportation shall be included in the bid price . MATERIALS : All materials shall be new , of the best quality of their respective kinds . All replacement parts , where necessary , shall be original manufactured material .
