Grease Trap Pumping Services

SPECIFICATIONS / SERVICE AT EACH LOCATION : Sevier County desires to have the grease traps at the attached list of locations ( Attachment A ) pumped according to the frequency provided ( minimum twice per year , more often if necessary ). Bidders must complete Attachment A and return with their bid . Service at each location shall include : Service / Pump / Clean the grease trap of complete contents , including fats , oils , & grease ( FOG ), food solids and water portion of the trap Scrape and clean baffles and walls Provide a manifest or record of the grease trap pumping to the designated Sevier County Schools Maintenance representative . The information will include , at a minimum : date pumped , volume in gallons , name of location , address , and final disposal location of the grease wastewater . A copy must be left at the site and a copy shall be sent to Sevier County Schools Food Service , 226 Cedar Street , Sevierville , TN 37862 . Insure proper flow to include snaking the cleanout if necessary Provide written documentation of any problems or defects found in the grease trap . At a minimum , the written notification will be made for missing inlet or outlet Tees , holes or cracks , deterioration of the equipment , overflowing FOG at outlet Tee , no access to all chambers , or any obvious problems with the trap . Respond to call for service within four ( 4 ) business days Make scheduled service call throughout the year at each location ( see attachment A ) Price includes all labor , material , transportation , dumping fees , and any other cost related to providing the service in total . Any increased costs , fees , etc . not known or taken into account at the time of bidding shall remain the bidder ' s responsibility and will not adjust the School System ' s price . All material used shall be environmentally safe . In the case of Emergency Pumping , price will be determined by the average amount paid for standard pumping activity under the bid .
