Description | The contractor shall provide all labor , materials , equipment , and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks and shall be for both services specified below ( cleaning & testing ): 2 . 1 . Pre - Inspection and Planning : • Site Visit : Conduct a site visit to assess the condenser , access points , and working conditions . Non - mandatory • Cleaning Method Selection : Recommend and justify the appropriate tube cleaning method based on the type and extent of fouling . Provide details on the proposed method , including equipment , procedures , and safety precautions . Projectile cleaning is the preferred method . • ECT Plan : Develop an ECT plan outlining the testing procedure , including probe selection , calibration standards , scanning patterns , and data analysis methods . The plan should adhere to industry ’ s best practices and relevant standards ( e . g ., ASME , ASTM ) • Health and Safety Plan : Submit a comprehensive health and safety plan addressing potential hazards associated with the cleaning and testing activities , including confined space entry , chemical handling ( if applicable ), and working at heights . |
