Description | Replace lower section of expansion joint on U3 stack . Will replace complete floor section and six feet up the west and east walls . Bid will be put in as turnkey . Replacement joint must meet Manufacture spec or higher quality material . Current expansion joint style - CH1000 high temperature composite . Expansion joint will have a Stainless - steel cover over the inside to protect the joint . Contractor responsibility will be 1 . Supply all material needed to complete tasks ( joint material , hardware , etc .) 2 . Remove old joint and disposal of it . 3 . Provide manpower needed to complete task 4 . Provide all tools and equipment needed to complete task . 5 . Follow GRDA and OSHA safety guidelines . 6 . Provide scaffolding or ladders to reach expansion joint . |
