Description | Georgia State University is open to obtaining a cloud - based SaaS Digital Collections platform with a modern layout and technological structure that integrates with the proposed digital preservation system , ArchivesSpace , and Aeon . The platform will allow for multiple file formats to be presented utilizing the International Interoperable Image Framework ( IIIF ) APIs , as well as include the ability for born - digital and digitized collections to be viewed according to their intellectual and archival hierarchical arrangement . The platform will integrate outside vocabularies and authorities to streamline metadata work and lay the groundwork for linked data integrations . It should also include technical capabilities , such as OCR / HTR and / or AI assisted metadata , to process files ingested and create metadata . The platform should allow patrons to search and interact with it in the manner expected of a modern platform . The system must meet the WCAG 2 . 1 Level AA or higher accessibility guidelines and allow for records to be harvested for inclusion into the Digital Library of Georgia and the Digital Public Library of America . |
