High Point Water Infiltration Repair - Window Flashing

The District intends to award a contract to one contractor for water infiltration repairs at High Point School , as identified with an effective start date of May 4 , 2026 with completion being no later than August 14 , 2026 . Alternates 1 , 2 , 3 , and 4 may only be performed between June 7 – June 30 , and August 3 – August 21 , 2026 . Scope of Work and Technical Requirements : 1 . All work must be performed by the awarded Contractor . Sub - contracting must be approved , in writing , in advance , by the Washtenaw Intermediate School District ’ s Director of Operations . 2 . The Contractor will be responsible for supplying all equipment , labor , material , applicable permits , insurance ( s ) and / or license ( s ) required for water infiltration repair at head flashing of windows as shown on drawings ( Attachment A ), for window identified as “ Base Bid ”. Alternate pricing shall be submitted to complete windows in “ Alternate 1 ”, “ Alternate 2 ”, “ Alternate 3 ”, “ Alternate 4 ”. a . Remove , salvage , and reinstall gravel stop fascia system as required for repair work . b . Remove , salvage , and reinstall metal panel system and furring as required for repair work . c . Provide temporary protections around work site to avoid unwanted foot traffic , utilizing barriers such as temporary snow fencing . d . Removal of existing spray foam , flashings , furring , metal framing , etc . as shown on the drawings to perform the repair work . e . Disposal and removal of all debris . f . Supply and install of all flashings , membranes , sealants , insulation , etc . as shown on drawings for a complete scope of work . 3 . If Contractor damages School District property ( e . g ., grass , plants , concrete , signs , etc .) it shall be repaired at Contractor ' s sole cost and expense to a condition as good as prior to such damage . 4 . Submittals including product data and / or shop drawings shall be required for all materials to be installed . 5 . A schedule of values shall be developed and submitted for approval prior to invoicing . Schedule of values to be submitted to Tanner Rowe , WISD Director of Operations , via email at trowe @ washtenawisd . org . Invoicing for the above services to be submitted by the 15th of the month for completed work . 6 . Schedule of work can be found in Attachment B .
