Country: Bangladesh of the Assignment:SPPS Programme is seeking to hire a National Consultant, Programme Support and Communication. The consultant will play a dual role: driving the programme’s strategic communications, including developing multimedia content, success stories, and donor reports, while providing dedicated programmatic, administrative, and knowledge management support to ensure the smooth execution of SPPS initiatives.Scope of work:The consultant will undertake the following tasks:Collaboration & CoordinationWork closely with Government of Bangladesh (GoB) officials, UNDP teams, and partners to ensure project objectives are aligned and partnerships are strengthened.Knowledge Product DevelopmentResearch and prepare policy briefs, reports, and knowledge products on emerging issues in social protection and related thematic areas.Policy EngagementContribute to high-level meetings, workshops, and webinars, providing technical inputs and supporting policy dialogue.Data & Information ManagementSupport data collection, analysis, visualization, and develop infographics for improved reporting and decision-making.ReportingDraft and contribute to project reports, thematic papers, and documentation of programme achievements.Knowledge Repository ManagementDevelop and maintain repositories of project knowledge, lessons learned, and success stories.Event OrganizationPlan and facilitate workshops, consultations, and stakeholder engagement events.Stakeholder EngagementStrengthen collaboration with government, partners, and stakeholders to enhance programme visibility and impact.Research SupportAssist research teams with background studies, literature reviews, and data analysis.Period of assignment/services: 96working days over a period of 5 monthsThe proposal should be submitted directly to the portal no later than the indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via the portals messaging functionality.
