Description | One - year ( 1 ) contract , with four ( 4 ) one - year renewals if agreed upon by both parties . Evaluating developer experience and capacity . Financial review of the sources and uses , operating proformas , and financial statements . Structuring deals with available public sector economic development programs . Review of appraisals , cost assumptions , capital budgets , operating statements , marketing data and other funding commitments . Advising on tax credit equity sources , requirements , and structuring . Identifying other funding sources for the range of commercial , industrial , and residential real estate and business credit deals . Determining the need for client funding of the Project , utilizing the underwriting documentation set forth in the Checklist for Financial Underwriting attached hereto . For HOME - funded activities , Grow America will conduct subsidy layering analysis as required by HUD , and follow HUD CPD Notice 15 - 11 - Requirements for the Development and Implementation of HOME Underwriting and Subsidy Layering Guidelines . Provide Underwriting training for MCCD staff . Provide Underwriting reports to MCCD staff post review . See more |
