Description | This project includes the installation of approximately 690 LF of proposed ductile iron water mains along Howard Boulevard from Stierli Court to the entrance of 172 Howard Boulevard in Mount Arlington Borough . • The scope of work includes various improvements of water mains through the construction of new 8 - inch Ductile Iron Pipe Class 52 Potable Water Mains along with fittings , service connections and components . This new water main system shall connect to the existing Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority ( MCMUA ) infrastructure within Mount Arlington Borough . As part of the project , the Contractor must perform a tie - in connection to the existing 8 - inch DI pipe utilizing the necessary adaptors to make the watertight connection . The bidders shall provide all material and labor necessary to perform the installation and testing as per the construction documents and specifications . Site work scope includes various traffic control devices , soil erosion and sediment control measures , excavation , restoration of asphalt pavement , various driveway restorations , curb restoration , and landscape restorations . |
