HPD Parking Garage Lift Gate Replacement

The City and County of Honolulu is requesting to upgrade the lift gate and control system for four lift gates , two entrance and two exit that control access from S . Beretania Street to the parking garage at the Honolulu Police Department ( HPD ) Headquarters . The current lift gates are no longer manufactured and not supportable . Two of the lanes , one entrance and one exit , also serve as lanes in the fueling station . Special controls may be required to prevent the gate from opening when the lanes are blocked due to a vehicle refueling . All work shall be done in compliance to all applicable codes and current regulations that is listed , but not limited to : • Americans with Disability Act Accessibility Guidelines ( ADAAG ) • General Condition Contracts for C & C of Honolulu ( GC ) • National Fire Protection Association ( NFPA ) • Standard Details of the Department of Public Works , C & C of Honolulu ( SD ) • Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction C & C of Honolulu ( SS ) • International Building Code ( IBC ) • Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) • Uniform Fire Code ( UFC ) • Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) • National Electrical Code ( NEC )
