Description | Implement systemic improvements at the City ’ s seventy - two ( 72 ) signalized intersections and safety improvements at three ( 3 ) unsignalized intersections and roadway segment with a history of fatal and severe crashes . Work includes , but not limited to , signal modifications at the City ’ s 72 intersections by installing signal head reflective backplates and Leading Pedestrian Interval ( LPI ); installation of signage , daylighting , beacons , etc . at the 3 unsignalized intersections ; and safety improvements of a horizontal curve along McCarty Blvd . |
