The selected vendor shall provide comprehensive HVAC and mechanical services across all 6 Mastery Charter School sites located in Camden , NJ . Services shall include reactive repair , emergency response , and compliance - related services to ensure safe , reliable , and efficient operation of all mechanical systems in support of uninterrupted school operations . Systems Covered The scope of work includes , but is not limited to , the following systems and components : ● Rooftop units ( RTUs ) ● Boilers , furnaces , and heat exchangers ● Chillers and cooling towers ( where applicable ) ● Split systems and heat pumps ● Air handling units ( AHUs ) ● Unit ventilators ● Exhaust and supply fans ● Variable frequency drives ( VFDs ) ● Pumps , motors , belts , bearings , and controls ● Ductwork , dampers , and diffusers ● Thermostats , sensors , and associated controls ● Building automation system ( BAS ) interfaces ( vendor must coordinate with Mastery - approved BAS providers ) Repair and Corrective Maintenance Services The vendor shall provide on - demand repair services to address mechanical failures , comfort issues , and safety concerns . Repair Services Include : ● Diagnosis and troubleshooting of HVAC / mechanical failures ● Repair or replacement of failed components ● Minor piping , electrical , and control repairs related to HVAC systems ● Refrigerant handling and leak repair ( EPA - certified technicians required ) ● Coordination with Mastery for approval of repairs exceeding established cost thresholds Repair Expectations : ● Clear communication of issue , cause , and recommended solution ● Transparent labor and material pricing ● Prioritization of repairs impacting : ○ Health and safety ○ Instructional continuity ○ Regulatory compliance
