Description | A . Contractor shall furnish and install a new three ( 3 ) ton high - efficiency ductless split system including the following : 1 ) Mount the outdoor condensing unit on a ground - level pad / bracket . 2 ) Install the wall - mounted evaporator fan coil in the vault plus all necessary refrigerant line sets . 3 ) Install new copper condensate piping with proper slope and support . 4 ) Seal and insulate any penetrations for energy efficiency . 5 ) Install a new thermostat and system controls . 6 ) Install all necessary high - voltage power and low - voltage control wiring for the new system including a new weatherproof fused disconnect at the outdoor unit and a dedicated circuit from the existing electrical panel to the indoor air handler . B . Contractor shall provide crane service for installation , if needed . C . Contractor shall provide two copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals to the CHP on - site contact . D . Contractor is responsible for obtaining any permits required for the installation of the HVAC unit ( s ). E . Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one ( 1 ) year after installation and provide manufacturer ' s warranty on equipment installed . F . The replacement equipment and installation must be in compliant with the California Code of Regulations , Title 24 , Part 6 . G . Contractor shall start , test , charge , and balance the system to ensure proper operation . |
