A . Provide a cold liquid - applied polymethyl methacrylate ( PMMA ) waterproofing system only at the tops of exterior board formed concrete columns / pilasters and walls where indicated on the drawings . 1 . Work includes flashing and sealing tops of board - formed exterior columns / pilasters including conduit penetrations , glulam base plates and similar details associated with tops of columns at both the main building and picnic pavilions . 2 . Work includes flashing and sealing tops of board - formed exterior cast - in - place concrete walls where indicated . 3 . No roofing or weather - exposed deck surfaces are included in this scope , and no weathertight roof system or roofing warranty is required . B . Work shall include , but is not limited to , the following : 1 . Preparation of top of columns / pilasters and wall substrates and other flashing substrates . 2 . Liquid applied , reinforced flashings . 3 . Liquid applied , reinforced waterproofing membrane . 4 . Associated accessories and labor to provide a continuous , durable , watertight seal around conduit penetrations and base plates
