The I beams and footers supplied shall be in accordance with ASTM A36 and ASTM A709 , Grade 36 . 3 . Base plates and stiffener plates shall be in accordance with ASTM A 709 , Grade 36 . The I beams and footers shall be supplied with the stiffener plates and base plates welded to the beams , with the placement and dimensions of the stiffener plates and base plates . 4 . All I beams , footers , stiffener plates , and base plates shall be galvanized in accordance with A123 . |
